WAREHOUSE Warehouse Sweatshirt Lot 403 SKIING

This classic loopwheel sweatshirt has remained unchanged for over 20 years. The coarse lock thread visible between the two stitches is a detail typically found in vintage sweatshirts, but was achieved by improving the sewing machine. The fleece lining, formerly known as cotton fleece lining, has also been recreated by brushing the fabric while it is still in its tubular shape.

Camp Hale is located in central Colorado at an altitude of approximately 2,800 meters and served as the U.S. Army's Western Military Academy from 1942 to 1945.
At that time, soldiers and trainees were engaged in rigorous training every day in snowy mountains and mountainous areas, including alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, and mountain climbing.

In this work, the characters taking on ski training are depicted in designs that evoke the atmosphere of the time.
