Colimbo ZT-0703 Claude Desert Chukka Boots – British Military Style Goodyear Welt Leather Boots – Made in Japan

The Colimbo ZT-0703 “Claude Desert Chukka Boots” are inspired by the British military desert boots issued in the late 1980s.

While maintaining the classic military design, Colimbo has refined the construction and materials to create a more durable and versatile boot.

The original cement construction has been upgraded to a Goodyear welt construction, greatly improving durability and allowing for long-term use and resoling.
The outsole has also been changed from the traditional lug sole to a Dynamite stud sole, offering excellent grip and comfort while maintaining a classic military appearance.

A distinctive detail is the “Broad Arrow” stamp on the side, a mark historically used on British government-issued equipment, adding authentic military character to the boots.

The upper is made from premium Latigo leather produced by Italy’s TRAPPER tannery, used for the first production run of this model.
The boots are available in two leather variations: steer hide and suede.

These boots combine rugged military heritage with refined craftsmanship, making them suitable for everyday wear as well as vintage-inspired styling.
