This particular shirt was made by Holoholo, a brand of Holoholo Apparel Manufacturing, which entered the shirt market in earnest after the war. It is also featured in "The Hawaiian Shirt," a specialist book on aloha shirts written by Thomas Steele, and is highly regarded by vintage collectors, making it increasingly difficult to find one in good condition.
