Reverse style hanging fleece lining

The first thing you'll notice when you pick up this sweatshirt is its weight. This newly developed sweatshirt is the result of repeated trial and error to recreate the 1960s RW style. This revolutionary athletic sweatshirt uses horizontal wefts to reduce shrinkage, and while its side panels tend to draw attention, its unique characteristics lie in the yarn itself. Knitted with a tight weave, the fabric is stiff yet resilient, heavy yet soft and airy. Warehouse's focus is on the weave of the fabric. While the "prominent weave" of a regular sweatshirt is the vertical grain, this RW model uses the horizontal grain. To achieve this, we experimented with counts of yarn and weave density, repeatedly experimenting with different combinations. Finally, we arrived at a technique called "paired weave," which is unusual for a sweatshirt. While sweatshirts are typically knitted with a single thread each on the front, middle, and back, weave density makes it easier to achieve a tight weave. Furthermore, the characteristics of the loopwheel knitting machine allowed the fabric to be stiff while maintaining its elasticity, allowing the surface texture to stand out. Historically, sinker knitting machines, adopted later, tended to produce fabrics that were too stiff, even with the same yarn specifications, resulting in a noticeable difference in the finished product. The weight of the finished fabric requires skilled work during dyeing and sewing. Dyeing places greater strain on the fabric than usual, and sewing is not as easy as with lightweight knitwear. The "baton relay" of cooperation between fabric, dyeing, and sewing—all of these processes—is what gives this RW-type sweatshirt its weight. We'll discuss the original RW model later. Surprisingly, analysis of a torn section of fabric from a 1960s vintage piece, commonly known as a "sewn-up tag," revealed the "stretched" threads. The pioneering spirit of athletic wear, which pursued an idyllic yet uncompromising approach, is unearthed through the "endless pursuit of detail."
