CUSHMAN 【MATTSONS'】DOBBY CLOTH SPORTS JACKET Drizzler Jacket

This is a late-model N-1 Winter Jacket delivered in 1945. The manufacturer is recorded as "Cornelius Weiss Co, Brooklyn, NY". The stencil on the back of the Pattern B jacket is from the USS Sunfish (SS-281), which was launched in 1942. After being decommissioned on December 26, 1945, at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, California, it was commissioned in April 1949 as a naval reserve training ship in Vallejo, California, and remained in service until 1960.
